I have no idea how much I spent, and I am too tired to figure it out.

In order to limit my consumption of juice, I only buy oj once a month, sometimes less. I could drink it everyday, all day!

The last mushrooms I bought spoiled because of the wreck and pain and not bending over.

I saved all the tops where I bit off the strawberries. These will catch a raccoon. Raccoons love strawberries. If you use tuna, usually you catch the neighbor's cat. Cats are not tempted by strawberries.

The buns were from the bread store.

I asked a Publix employee in the produce to shuck the corn, cut off the stalk part left, and to cut them in half. Done!

    1. Oui is French yogurt, full fat yogurt. It comes in little glass pots with foil seal on top. I peel off the labels and have a cute little glass. Peel off the label before washing and there is no stickiness on the jar.

    1. Urspo,
I usually shop at Walmart because of the electric carts. I have been to Aldi three times in the three years they have been here. Warehouse Discount Groceries is a small 3 store chain that has electric carts, but I rarely shop there. Save a Lot has one cart, so I have to depend on it being free.

When WM had price-matching, I could access all the prices in Birmingham to north and Huntsville to the south, plus two larger cities east and west of here and all the little stores in this huge circle. Now, WM is not accepting their prices, so I pay a bit more sometimes.

Then, there is the Farmer's Market where all crops must be grown in the county and sold by the growers. I have a favorite vendor there, so I park behind his truck, walk to him, buy what I want and he will carry it to my car. Everything can be bought at stores within a circle, driving about 6 miles there and back. So, the furthest away is 3 miles.

  3. I love that they shuck the corn for you. I know Walmart has garbage cans right there next to the corn, so you can shuck it and not take that home and mess up your own home with that mess.

    1. Belinda,
My WM here does not have trash cans in produce dept. But, not taking the shucks home is a good idea. I always had exbf do it outside. Since my hands are the problem for me, I will not be shucking anything...lol. Thanks!

Okay, hoping the annoyances have gone away.
