 If so, why has this not been on the news. There is so much disinformation nowadays, that I am puzzled

Why haven't these atrocities been publicized?

In other news, when I went to the cardiologist, the np said that the heart block was not new. The last test I had there months ago showed the same thing. The doctor had not informed me. I sat with my mouth open for a bit. I was shocked, told her so, and that he should have discussed this with me. She said nothing. 

Are you familiar with the Lurlene Wallace? Her husband was George Wallace, governor of Alabama. She had breast cancer. Her husband decided he did not want to worry her, so she died of breast cancer. And, the doctor allowed information to be kept from his patient to please the husband. I was shocked at this information and cried for her 60 years after the fact. 

She also said she suspected I had lymphedema. Funny thing, when I asked about this years ago, and many times since, each doctor said, no, I did not. How do they know? No one tested me. Or examined me for it. 

The np practitioner at the cardiologist gave me a list of tests to come back and have at their office. "Call me at this number if you have any questions." So, I called and the people told me the stress test would only take 15 minutes, so a 30 min appointment would be sufficient. I argued with the list of tests in my hand that I was not scheduled for a stress test, that I had already had one. Well, they know better than I. Also, I had to tell them exactly what questions I had and they would ask the np. Never mind I had a half dozen questions that would probably have follow-up questions. She said, "I am going to tell the np that you refused to tell me what questions you had." So, it has been over a week and the np has not called back. I am baffled as to how to get past these minimum wage workers. 

But, tonight, I figured it out. I will call and press any other button to get me somewhere else in the office and tell them that I need her to return my call. I know this won't turn out well for me, but I will try. There is always the office manager...lol.

Have you faced the initial contact who is argumentative and refused to give you an appointment to suit the tests? I can read and there is no stress test! And, a stress test is 15 min in the machine, plus, the insertion of the needle with meds, and the waiting time for the machines and people to push a person about. I was on a gurney, so it is not like they want me wandering about on my own.

New Cardiologist

 I could not believe the cardio office called and pointed out I missed my appointment I had last Tuesday. Yes, I did not go. It was at the doctor who said he did not know what doctor could help me with my swollen left leg. He told me it was my 'size." No, that is not right.

So, when she called asking if I wanted to make another appointment, I said 'yes, but not with doctor name. She said, "I see he is treating you for venous insufficiency." Well, that was a surprise. So, I have an appointment with a nurse practitioner. This appointment should yield better results since I will see a nurse practitioner. 

Tonight, I baked the $1.99/lb bscb. There were nine breasts, so nine or more meals. I had green beans, slaw and half a breast that I chopped and used bbq sauce. Tommy had slaw, green beans, and a salad. We usually each eat half a chicken breast which we did tonight. 

The road in front of the house almost got wet today. So, it is supposed to rain enough to measure on a rain gauge--0.005 inches of rain is the forecast. It has been dreary out and was about 60F today. But, the pollinators are going crazy over the lemon tree. 

I slept 8.5 hours last night and woke feeling well. The only thing I did differently was go to bed early--3 am.

This weekend we will be chasing Ziploc pint freezer bags bogo. Seriously, we have no plans. What are your plans this weekend? Are there any veterans in your family or life?

Long Day; Hard Days

When Tommy came Tuesday, I did not have enough sleep the night before. So, Wednesday was spent doing absolutely nothing. Still I was not rested. By the time Wednesday came around, I was still somewhat tired. I had a doctor visit and then shopped as many are wont to do after the first of the month.

At Publix, the a2milk that is usually $4.79 was 2 for $7. I bought 5 half gallons. One of those was chocolate. In my refrigerator are those five, two half gallons of regular milk for Tommy, one half gallon I bought the day before, and a half gallon of orange juice. So, that makes nine (9) half gallons stuffed in my small refrigerator. I got the ads to see what else was on sale and to find coupons for them.

Before the ad goes off next Wednesday, I will buy another two half gallons of the a2milk for coming weeks. It does not go on sale often enough for me to have the opportunity to keep buying it on sale. Oh, after buying this about 3 pm, I left it in the car until 9: 30. This is why I shop more often--because I cannot make many trips from the car to the house without great pain and exhaustion.

Of course, half the town was at Walmart. Besides buying groceries, people were wiping out the 50% off Halloween items. I bought a pair of pumpkin earrings for next year--$1.50. I forgot what else I bought at WM. Of course, not thinking about the milk still in the car, I did buy more perishables that had to come into the house at 9:30 last night.

When I was ready to leave WM, rain was so heavy that a foot from the ground was in a fog of bouncing rain. I had to spend another 45 minutes until it stopped or slowed down. ugh Just turning around to stay there made me tired thinking of even being there.

After I talked to the cardiologist, he said he needs to see me again Friday. I dread another trip. It makes me tired to think about it! Plus, I need to get bscb on sale and see if butter is cheap.

My back and shoulders are hurting and my arms are numb. I could barely get out of the car and out of the wheelchair! Someone had to open a water bottle for me. I cannot imagine the aftermath of a car wreck that leaves a person with grave bodily injury, plus all this pain. Once again, I had to pay someone to wash my hair at salon.

Nothing but complaints? Well, the sun is going to shine today! My one goal is to plant red onions, yellow onions, tulips, daffodils, and one other thing I forgot, maybe garlic. This will only take poking a hole in the pots of dirt with a stick and poking in a bulb and covering it with soil using a stick. The fresh soil poured in there in July is still very soft.

The iris I planted the other day have not been dug up by the little demons we call chipmunks. So, I have hope. As a matter of fact, the are greening up a little.

I have been up since 4 am, so I will need a nap. Getting a jump on Friday shoppers, I will go to the store by 8 am. There will be no editing today.

When I went to the cardiologist on Thursday, the nurse was shocked at my bp--94/52. I was not. It has been lower in the past. The doctor mentioned it, too.

When I weighed at the doctor's, I was shocked that I apparently lost 7 lbs. in the last few weeks. I suppose that eating only two slices of bread each day has something to do with the loss. Today, I have only had one piece. Maybe I will not eat the second piece.

In order to see if his scales were same as ones I usually weigh on, I went to my doctor on Friday just to weigh, and I have lost 9 lbs.! Since I lost the last two pounds in one day, I will probably not lose anything for a day or so.

The doctor's diagnosis was atrial tachycardia. Apparently, it is not too serious as he wants to see me in a year.

I sold the old ac for $10. It will cool a smaller room adequately when the filter is cleaned. When the guy came with three others to pump water from the basement, I told them they could buy the ac for $10. The reason I mentioned it is someone had to move because it was in the way of the entrance to the basement. And, it was for sale.

Friday, I found a penny. In the last two weeks, I have found a dime, and 3 pennies, one each at three separate times. So, that is 14 cents altogether.

Cardiologist Visit

On Tuesday we went to the bank and then to the church lunch. We had taco salad, chips, and cake. I decided to eat the taco salad with beef and suffered greatly as soon as I ate it and even worse when we got home.

It looks like a2milk prices might become lower. Exbf said there are commercials for it all the time on NBC. Two half gallons were $8 at the store. It seems there are more specials for it. Spending much less than the usual $4.69/half gallon would please me.

I cooked chicken, potatoes, and carrots in an oven bag. The vegetables were done and the chicken was tender. I took it out of the oven and placed it on the top of the stove, forgetting the oven had been on. Sooo, the vegetables were shrunken and chicken was dry. However, it was delicious, even without any salt or other flavoring. No doctor has ever suggested I need to lower my salt intake, but just avoid it as much as I can. Fried potatoes or French fries are the exception to minimally salting.

Wednesday
Soon, I will leave for cardiologist. With one phone call, I discovered there is a history of heart disease in my family. Funny how that never came up!

I arrived at the cardiologist at 11:40  and finally left at 2:00. I was exhausted. The doctor I waited an extra month to see was not there since he was called away for some sort of emergency, heart related, I presume. However, I really like the guy I saw. I have another procedure besides the one today, the electrocardiogram. Plus I will be wearing a monitor. So far, I found out the bunch of nerves on the right side of my heart have failed, shorted out.

My heart behaved itself until after the doctor left the room. Now, it has been acting up the rest of the afternoon and evening.
