This app was identified on a murder mystery program that included the Lindbergh baby murder. As I understand this app, it can be used by a phone or the computer.
Take a picture of the leaf and use the app to identify the tree. I noticed there are fruits, too.
I have a whole page of the sites that have information about this app. So, you can choose what you need to read or use.
When I was in high school, I could tell you the name of a hundred trees, but all that is just about gone from my memory.
I can imagine this app would be great for children as an educational tool. Or, you might use it to identify trees on your property.

1) The weather for the most part has been beautiful. This is the type of weather where I hang clothes on the line because I like to hang them out and to save money. The pollen is so terrible and so early, it seems. So, I try to hang things in the house to dry. Pants, blouses, panties, and socks are hung inside always. However, towels and wash clothes and dish cloths go outdoors. Now, I have to use the dryer. When I wash sheets and blankets they will have to be dried, also. Running the dryer is expensive! I will hang a few washcloths in the house. No money saving steps here until the pollen is gone.
2) Tomorrow, I have to use the oven instead of the crockpot. Hopefully, I can get two pans of meat and vegetables into the oven. It is not so hot out that the oven will heat up the house and cause me to use the ac. Using the crockpot would be cheaper. I cannot save money with the crockpot on Thursday.
3) I had someone help me remove two boxes from the front seat. For a while I thought I was going to have to pay someone. So, money saved there.
4) The car console is filthy. It is embarrassing. I will go to my trusty stash of toothbrushes for a cleaning tool. I change my toothbrush every three months, so I usually have plenty of toothbrushes for other jobs around the house.

Do you think you or someone you know might use the Leafsnap app? Is there anyone out there who uses the dryer exclusively as opposed to using to hanging clothes to dry?

App for Car Diagnostics; Tulip Questions
I found this article about an app for a smart phone that does the same diagnostic tests a dealer or mechanic does. Does anyone or their brother have an opinion on this APP?
State Farm has a tent about 50x50 ft in Lowe's parking lot./ Business must be brisk.
Sunday, I awoke feeling great, almost like I was eighteen until I moved. This has been a beautiful day, full of bumble bees and wisteriaand sunshine with temps in 70s..
Last Tuesday, before the hail I brought in the two tulips I knew would be battered. I was able to enjoy their beauty until today when the petals fell off. I appears they have a structure like rose hips underneath where the petals were. It is a huge bulge and I wonder what will happen with that part. The stems are in water, still.
And, I am sneezing my head off.
Nevertheless, I am getting more done than I have the whole week. And, that is not much.
How about the efficacy of the app?

Grocery Shopping: Bad News, Shopping: Good News
As of September 11, 2017 no Walmart will price-match/ad-match. I always say "price-match," but the correct term is "ad-match." This makes me very SAD. Until then, I will take advantage of it as much as I can, maybe some stocking-up items will be purchased in more abundance. We have Labor Day ads in the window of opportunity.
Thanks for the birthday present, Walmart! NOT
As for the good news, I found an app that a couple were using today at WM. It is called Shopkick. I made $0.75 today and could barely figure out how to use it. I may get J to go with me. She is capable of using her phone and mine to get both phones racking up money. There are several cards you can get the points on. Or, as the couple I saw did, you can get money off your grocery bill. They received $2 off their shopping trip today just by scanning while at the store.
There is an option to just scan things o and an option to buy the item. Of course, you get more credit for buying than scanning. Since I had already purchased one of the items during the shopping trip, I was able to scan the upc on the receipt and get a large number of points. I was checking out and ready to leave when I discovered this app, so things were bagged when I figured this out.
The mental effort to figure out how to do this and recover the app as I went to find things to scan in the store will be a good brain exercise. With the effort I am having to put forth, my brain will never go old...lol.
Your turn
Have you ever used this app--shopkick? What are the best apps you have found that you can recommend?
