Now, the insurance company rep says he is too busy. I called and got someone else. She did not know where it was, but where it should be, which the guy did not know and could not find out. It is 5pm and he has not called back.
Tommy called same locksmith that promised me for hours I would get a call. At the end of the day, I was told they would not come until morning. I asked if they were 24/7. The person said yes and had no answer, just hung up on me.
I suppose I gave Tommy the wrong number to call, so partly my fault.
I went to bed at 2 am and woke at 4:15am. Finally went back to bed at 11 am and woke at noon. When I came in here, Tommy was watching television and had called no one. I had to stay up and make him call.
We got a nice young man who made a key and did some extra stuff for $20. He carried dehumidifier to car, backed the car out of the carport since I hit things.
We went to store, and I forgot son's card. grrr
Took car through the car wash. Boy, was it dirty with mostly pollen. Mentioned it was for sale to someone at store who told someone who needed a car and looked at it.
I am bleary from lack of sleep!
I drove for the first time. It was painful. Tomorrow, we have to find our car and get it to mechanic and get a rental. Mine is hard to get into and difficult for Tommy to drive. This ordeal is wearing me to a nub. So, we jave ;pst twp days.
Now, I have to get a rental car or force him to do so. I am getting sick of asking him. Unbelievably, I still feel the impact of hitting the porch all over my body. My doctor said it was the trauma of the fall. Oh, I have the remnants of a huge bruise on the underside of my breast.
I suppose no comments means no interest.
The guy who made the key was interesting. We got his life story- Indian and Irish, Second generation Indian. More about his family dynamics and his job. He did extra stuff for us. Interesting young man.
This is so stressful!
