This week, my goal was to find cheese on sale or a coupon to use, preferably both. Plus, I need the same for Miracle Whip.
The Heinz Cakes are for making in a cup and there are four mixes in each box, so that is about $.16 for each dessert. I suppose I will try this overnight oatmeal.
My favorite brand of bologna was on sale, so I got it. I rarely buy bologna. I will wait six months and only buy it on sale. I cannot eat the pizza because it has pepperoni, so I will bake it and freeze it for my freezer when I need a quick lunch for exbf.
No sale found for cheese or Miracle Whip. The salad was a bowl for $2.98 that was sold on the best-buy-date for $2.09. It is still very fresh and was eaten within a few hours.
I did see an ad for "Tortiyahs." I checked the brand on the internet, and yes, this is a thing. They also sell tortillas. I don't understand.
I spent about $20.
I was given:
4 Vidalia onions
Gal. milk
3 lbs potatoes
loaf of bread
windmill cookies
I was making progress on the cookies and threw them out on the way to the house so I would not eat more. Yes, I do have self control. I got rid of them instead of believing the voice in my head that tells me I will only eat two a day. NO, I would have eaten them all before bedtime! There was no one to whom to give them.
There are chocolate chips that I can show self-control in eating--ten each day. And, I do not eat them every day.
Your turn
Do you believe that voice that tells you that you will ration cookies or other foods?
