Okay, I had chocolate chip cookies and milk for breakfast. I know it is not good for me, but it worked for me.
Usually at 9 am, the grass in the backyard is still wet. Today, before 9 am, it was very dry back there. So, going out to the chickens was pleasant. Today, they had not yet eaten or laid an egg. So, hopefully being fed early will eliminate the egg eating.
Before noon, it was 90 F. With the low humidity, as evidenced by early departure of dew, I can do some yard things without getting wet. The boxes I brought the chickens home in are still sitting out there. Something is dragging garbage around the yard, so I need to get that. Actually, something is dragging bags of recycling.
Instead of taking each recyclable thing out to the bin, I usually keep it inside in a grocery bag and take things out once each day. But, flies and fruit flies come to that inside. So, now I tie up bags and put them in the recycling bin. I have no idea what drags the bags all over the back yard. But, I know who gets to pick it all up. Tonight is the night to get garbage ready since the garbage man will be here by 7 am on Thursday.
Lunch--vegetable soup from Tuesday Free Lunch. I love having prepared no-brainer meals. A bit of chicken for protein, and I was satisfied. Today, the soup was much thicker, and I had more vegetables in it.
Remember I relocated a dead possum? Well, it appears I now have a woodchuck or groundhog, whichever you prefer. I could not bend enough and handle the sensitive trigger to set the trap, so someone else set it. I was going to use strawberry caps for raccoons, but now I am not sure. I can use lettuce for the groundhog. Two baits in the trap should catch one of the other.

More List
I will publish the whole list. Right now, I am too exhausted. And, it is cold in here.
One thing I accomplished today was lowering my phone bill. By having it automatically deducted from my bank account, I save over $20/month from here on out. At the ATT store, I put my phones, debit card, driver's license on the table and sat there while the young guy worked to make it happen. If I had done it over the phone, it would have been such a hassle.
Groceries today: a bag of Haloes and an avocado. The kind of lettuce I wanted at WM was gone. Since it is Friday and the first of the month, it disappeared. Early tomorrow, I will go back and buy it before it disappears again. So, tomorrow will be orange juice, lettuce, and bananas.
When I got med refills, I left one off as I do not like the side effects. Since I take some OTCs, I got those, too.
My new debit card did not work with the pin I tried to use. The ATT guy suggested just using it as credit card. I did. Then, I decided that might be the wrong thing to do. Exbf thought I should get to the bank and straighten it out. Ha! I was a block from bank and was going to confess. The woman said it was not a problem and changed my pin to one I want.
I even used the debit card for gas. It makes me nervous I might not write a transaction down. So, I stopped and wrote down all four transactions on my debit card today. I have never used a debit card before. I can see how this might be dangerous. It is so easy!
Now, the list must be reworked, checking things off and adding more. I may never get this list finished. Things seem out of control since I was ill so long and delaying regular dr visits and cancelling appointments and tests.
I need to turn up the heat since I am freezing and sneezing.
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and we will, according to his prediction, have another six weeks of winter. I was hoping to go by Birmingham Bill's prediction, but he saw a shadow, too! It was sunny here. Still, I refuse to believe winter is still with us for so long. Stupid groundhog!
Do you have bills on auto pay? Does it work for you? Problems? Do you believe we will have six more weeks of winter? Let's rebel.

Bride in the Bushes; Wild Animal on Sidewalks
![]() |
"don't smile" |
That is what the lady with the camera said. I saw a bride and two women headed across the street into a weedy lot. My curiosity got the better of me, I circled around with camera in hand and asked them why they were taking her picture in a weedy lot downtown.
"Oh, we have taken pictures in all sorts of horrible, trashy places today." Color me stunned. "But, we have taken pictures of beautiful places, too." They surely saw the relief and my brow quickly unfurrow. I have to quit that contemplative or sad look, because the wrinkles are sticking right between my eyebrows. Besides, I don't look sexy and vulnerable like Jennifer Aniston does when she furrows her cute little brow. I am going to need botox there if I don't quit it.
gorgeous hair
strange poses
She married June 8, 2013 and came out today with her mother and photographer for these pictures. If this is a trend, I am way behind the times.
Now for the wild animal acting civilized
He went to the door, stood and looked in, looked some more, looked around, and decided to keep going. It was almost as though he decided no one was home, so he would just keep going. I wonder if the city employees in these offices had fed him. He just trotted right down the middle of the alley like this was his old stomping grounds.
I spotted this animal on the west side of the block and watched as it traveled up the north side, the entire length of the side walk. In the meantime, people were working, talking, running some sort of heavy machinery, getting ready for a festival today. As I parked and got out, it went up the east alley above.
On the moving, leaving the door.
over to the right near ac
look hard
around the corner down the south side of the block
on curb near truck door
he spots me and takes to the grass and bushes
see him in front of the ac?
above the two red flowers near the wall
I think it is a ground hog. It had travelled four side of the block. I could not follow at first, then had to go around the block to find the alley.
Can you think of a good caption for the wedding gown pictures? I will have to find a prize for the winner and post the prize tomorrow. How creative can you be? Give me a good caption and tell me whether it I for #1, #2, or #3. One prize.
Your turn
Isn't it sad how easily I am amused? lol Is this a new trend in wedding photos? Is that a groundhog?
