$87 Richer Each Month

Today, I spent nine hours sitting and walking up and down on a concrete floor where I have my storage units. J and I finished moving things into one unit from the other. I brought things home I needed and needed for Christmas Child boxes. Lots of stuff I gave to J. I had many empty boxes, stored flat that I did not use, so she put those in the dumpster.

I basically sat. She pulled things from boxes, showed things to me, and I made decisions. She is exhausted, and so am I. This week, I will give her the $87 I would have given to the storage place.

In October I will not have that expense. I feel on top of the world right now. Between this and plans to save on the phone bill, I am so happy, ecstatic to tell the truth. A burden has been lifted.

Now, I need to get Swagbucks back on the table. It seems that for two years with cancer, UTIs, head and chest colds, high blood sugar, and everything, Swagbucks fell by the way. I am going to really work hard on the phone by watching videos when I have waiting to do anywhere. Before, I only searched and was happy with the $5 Amazon card I got each month. Now, I have my sights set higher.

I am going to try M turks, too. Later....

I have other plans for making money that I will discuss another day.

Your turn
What is the most a person can make on Swagbucks, searching and watching videos  What are other ways to earn on Swagbucks that are a good return on time? Have you been relieved to be out from under a monthly payment of any kind?

  1. I have a goal of five dollars a day between instagramGC, Swagbucks, Amazon M turk, and misc stuff like Ibotta. Do I always make it? Nope but it's a goal, lol. This should probably be a post by me at some point I suppose!

    1. That is a worthy goal even if you don't make it a few days. That would be $150 eacj month, not shabby at all. I don't know what instagramcc is. Yes, I would like to see that post.

  2. Good luck! I tried swagbucks but it wasn't worth it to me- remember I still work! I bet you are glad you got rid of the storage unit. Did you find any treasures? I guess I'm as prepared as I will be with impending Irma. Hopefully we won't lose power for too long.

    1. I sid not pursue SB seriously, only searching with sb. So, the effort was minimal and I got minimal results. Yes, I did find something I wanted. Treasures? Yes! I wondered about you and a few others. You will have to let us know how it goes. Good luck!

  3. How many storage units did you have, and how many are left? Trying to wrap my head around the idea of paying to store "stuff" beyond a few months while in the process of moving.

  4. We have people in our family who have several storage units for years! I don't think they even know what is there. But we have too much stuff too, we just have lots of on sight places to store stuff. The more you can store the more you save, at least in our case. A bill I was glad to get rid of? A car payment. The car was paid off for three months when my husband traded it in. I could have killed him.

    1. I paid off car and house in the same month, and it was a rush. I never understand people who routinely get a new car payment as soon as they get one paid off. I don't blame you.

  5. That's a huge monthly savings - good job! I have used storage units short term, but I don't think I could stand to pay it monthly for stuff I never see/use. I try to earn about $20 a month from Swagbucks. A majority from shopping online, surveys and bonus points from doing their Swago/spin the wheel contests.

    1. Thanks! I don't shop online, but I will see what I can do about that. I will check out what you mentioned. I am disappointed I cannot do this from my phone.

Okay, hoping the annoyances have gone away.
