A Clean House

Oh, Happy Day! I am finally vindicated!

You know, it is true. For three days I did not have a computer or internet service. I got so much done.

So, I give you this and will go about doing things in house and yard. I will not do much, I promise, so don't feel like a sluggard.

I don't know where I got this. If you know where it came from, like from your blog, let me know and I will give full credit. IN CAPS

Your turn
Can you relate to any of the poster?

  1. And an empty desk is a sign of an empty mind. I relate/resemble rather a lot of those images.
And am rarely as 'on top' of the housework as I should be. And when I am it lasts about five minutes. Sigh.

  2. Oh yes, this computer is such a time-waster...but when it's not working the books still work...Maybe it's time I started to...

  3. Oh, totally :) Especially about a "creative person" part. Sometimes my house looks like it was hit by a tornado when I feel especially creative (or the kids :)

    1. Lena,
When I finally got a sewing room/craftroom fixed up, I was shocked at how clean my house stayed--no stray threads or paper all over. I get the tornado effect.

  4. I hope you have room to put up a card that is on its way to your house.

  5. I used to have a sign that read: a clean house is a sign of a misspent life! And I still stand by that statement :)

    1. Michele,
I had forgotten that saying. Well, it appears that my life was not at all misspent! I feel so much better now. Thanks!

    1. kylie,
Wow, that is spooky. I don't think there is one of those symptoms I have not had. Will you repost that comment on the post about allergies? Then, I will delete it from here. That way, it will make more sense. Thanks so much.

  8. Ha ha I can relate. I often sit here at the computer and think of all the things I could be doing if I wasn't sitting here. :D

    1. LLCool Joe,
I do too, even planning how I am going to get up and do something. But, I don't...lol.

  9. LL Cool Joe said it the way I was going to say it. I sit here writing blog posts or surfing others blogs or just general internet searches and then realize three hours later that I could have gotten so much done. Maybe we all need to 'unplug' on occasion. ;-)

    1. ist Man,
I do unplug sometimes, but it is not my idea. ATT has the worst internet service, and they unplug me when I am not wanting to unplug. But, now that it is warm weather, getting out of the house will make it a little easier to 'unplug.'

  10. This made me laugh because it's absolutely 100% true! If I could sit at the computer and write all day every day I would be a very happy camper! I love to write, and I love connecting with other bloggers in the process! :-)

    1. jts,
Me too. Wouldn't it be great if we made lots of money writing all day? That would make me twice a happy camper. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Okay, hoping the annoyances have gone away.
