Kraft Deal

Today, I found a Kraft deal. Five cheese products were $10. Chunks, shreds, and slices were included in the deal. I bought two 8-ounce chunks of Medium Cheddar and three bags of Italian Five Cheese shreds. Since I have not had cheese in over a month, this will be an adventure. I will try cheese one day with no other allergens consumed. So, that will be a day excluding milk, wheat, and mammal meat.

I am pleased to say I spent one day without allergic reactions. No itching is a boon. Ears are fine. Tinnitus is at a minimum. Intestines are not complaining. Head and chest are clear. If you have never suffered from food, you have no idea how happy this makes me.

Actually, I believe eating like I do will save money since I won't waste money on gluten- or wheat-free products. Little dairy will be eaten. Chocolate is under control. Also. I buy less medicine, prescription and otc.

So far, the only mammal products I plan to consume are cheeses and milk.

Friday night, I will be taken out for my birthday dinner. Since I love sour cream on my baked potato, I will carry Greek yogurt. Their sour cream might have gums in it. Maybe I will take my own salad dressing. GAH! I am becoming one of "those" people.

Your turn
Have you found a Kraft deal lately?  Do you ever go out to eat and take part of your meal with you?

  1. Not Kraft but Shoprite has 8 oz blocks this week (their label) for $1.25 making this $2.50/lb. I bought 2 eah of NY sharp Cheddar and Colby Jack. I don't tote my own food, but would if I had restrictions as you do. Back in the day, before it was more readily available, I'd keep herbal tea in my purse. No longer an issue. : )

    1. CTMOM,
The tea at Ruby Tuesday is so nasty I drink water. Several times I took my instant tea powder and confused the waitress.

Today, I may just load up a little bag of stuff. I only go there for the salads but do get an entrée.

That is a great deal on cheese. I am a Kraft fan. Other cheeses taste "wrong."

If I find a store brand on sale like that, I suppose I will be less picky and maybe develop a taste for cheaper cheese. Thanks.

    1. Thanks. Do you think I can get them if I order right now? I would need them by Tuesday.

    2. Linda - coupons.com is a 'print your coupons' site. I use it all the time for things like Dawn, TP, and a few groceries. I check the night before a shopping trip. Last week I used a $3 coupon on a $4.39 Covergirl mascara.

    3. Bellen,
I could not get the site. It is all gibberish. Plus, my printer does not work and library won't add the coupon printer! I need a new printer. Thanks.

  3. Do whatever you have to do to feel good and enjoy your dinner out. "Those people" don't have hives, edema, and intestinal upset. I highly recommend it! Lol

Yes, I do need to do what it takes to stay well, feeling well. Thanks for the response.

  4. Yep, be one of "those people". I am. They are not the ones suffering when they eat something they shouldn't. I have to ask on salad dressings and BBQ sauce about honey as I'm very allergic to it. They always look at you funny so I'll take mine! Better than ending up in the hospital. Take care.

    1. Crystal,
Honey is in so many things, even places that don't seem to have it or even need it. Yes, I suppose I will have to be one of "those people."

Okay, hoping the annoyances have gone away.
