I managed to get my hair washed tonight with Tommy's help. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow.
The only thing we did today was to gather the 3 ads. Tommy shopped--toilet paper, potatoes, bananas, milk for him, milk for me, Sweet Baby Ray's Vidalia BBQ Sauce. That bbq sauce is so good I could eat it with a spoon. Only the potatoes were reduced. This will be a low spend week, it appears.
We drove next door so I could see if the huge elm has broken branches, either fallen or hanging in the tree. Tommy had walked out to the little dogwood. He said it broke off at the ground. It was a dying tree, anyway. He tried to move it. But, it was too heavy for him to drag even an inch, much less to road.
For dinner I had baked chicken breast, baked potatoes and carrots. Tommy had chicken breast, potatoes, carrots, and greens.
I still have not pedaled. My arms and hands are trembling all the time. My back is bone on bone, so not sure if the trembling problem is from my back problems.
It was warm when we left the house, but I soon needed the jacket I carried with me. It was still windy, so that made it too cool for me.
Oh my! Forrest Gump just came on and the Elvis episode is on. Such fun. Gotta go.
Happy Friday! Weird, but it sure feels like Saturday for some reason.
ReplyDeleteIt's super windy here, ruining our warm-ish temps with wind chill. No big branches down, thankfully, but lots of smaller ones.
All my squirrel-proof bird feeders have been knocked over, and the ground is too soggy to reset them. Guess I'll throw sunflower seeds on the ground and let the squirrels have some, too. I don't like to waste bird food on those greedy little rodents, but there's no way around it right now.
Well, I did all the vacuuming yesterday and today it's time to clean bathrooms. YET AGAIN. Why can't things just stay clean? LOL.
Sue,
DeleteI have not been afflicted with feeling it is the wrong day in a long time. I suppose I am due.
The day has been warm and barely a breeze. We saw lots of birds out. Mockingbirds were beating up robins, as usual.
I want bird feeders, but I am afraid we would attract pigeons. Squirrels will love your generosity when they find an abundance of seeds on the ground.
You wash the dishes and six months later, you have to do it all over again.
Hope you enjoyed Forrest Gump.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday and weekend wishes.
Take good care.
All the best Jan
Jan,
DeleteI did enjoy it so much that I told Tommy I would watch it again the next day.
I wish you a great Friday. The weekend should be happy for you.

Hi Linda, Happy Saturday to you and The Tomster! I hope you're feeling better and back to your pedaling.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, March is certainly coming in like a lion. Good. Maybe the end of the month will provide us with a calm spring!
Not pedaling, Sue. The tulip tree is in full bloom and daffodils are blooming. Spring is here. Calm spring is what I look forward to.

DeleteI tremble at times too and Googled it and it said it was a sign of aging. Ugh, just what I needed to hear. LOL
ReplyDeleteLovely! More good news! Elbows tremble in old age?
