Lazy Saturday

 Jan 24 and Jan 25

steps 20,298

Today has been a lazy day. Plus, I have no ooomph.

I rounded up info to tackle another problem over the phone. I don't relish this call. But, it is worth $2000, so I can handle it.

Friday night, I slept ten solid hours! A couple of times I wanted a nap today, but after five minutes reclining, I felt refreshed. Silly, huh? I never rested for more than five minutes today.

I read a lot and watched tv. Of course, I read on laptop where I can enlarge the text.

I forgot to post steps on Friday, so I posted for two days today.

Dinner: pork medallion, salad, snacks after dinner were about a dozen chocolate chips, and half dozen pecan halves.

Thankfully, it is warming up here. The snow on the sand at the beach is disappearing.

Do you still have ice, sludge or snow?

  1. When I saw 20,000 steps I thought "oh my goodness, she'll be running a marathon soon", but then I saw that it was for two days. All the same, that is an amazing achievement!

    1. Treaders,
Even I was amazed. Ha, I can barely get down the hall to get in bed. The legs work well, just not the back. I would love to be able to run a marathon.

  2. 20,000 steps is terrific! I love that, I’m back up to one hour on my bicycle pedaling, which the physical therapist says is great after my knee surgery. Ten hours of sleep is so good for your body. A lot of healing takes place when we sleep. I’m into zooming on my laptop too, it’s great! 👍

    1. Belinda,
My mind is clearer after sufficient sleep. I hate the brain fog that comes with little sleep. I am glad you are back to pedaling. One hour seems like a long time.

  3. A good nights sleep is always great. I never need a nap when I get a good nights sleep.
We still have a lot of white on the ground. It should be gone later in the week, as we are to get in the 40's each day.

    1. Cheryl,
Naps are new for me, at least needing several each day. I am enjoying this less naps habit.
Snow just gets ugly when it is around for long.

  4. Sleeping 10 hours sounds heavenly. Good job on the steps! We still have ice and snow here in Ohio, but some melted today as it was in the upper 30s.

    1. Rachel,
It is wonderful to hear from you. The sleep was wonderful. I wish I could sleep at least 8 every night! We finally got to 50s.

Okay, hoping the annoyances have gone away.
