Blackeyed Pea Drop Over Mont Blanket

Pea Drop

Maybe I should say Mont Blanc to make it sound French and fancy. It happened right here, folks. And the blanket was pink, not white. Mont Pink is not three miles high but more like three feet. It should have gotten news coverage like the Moon Pie Drop. sigh.

Your turn
What drop did you watch or execute?

  2. After exbf left after a long day, I waited until he pulled off and went to bed for a nap. I usually nap until he calls me and tells me he is safe at home. Then, I get up and clean up the dishes and kitchen, sort of...lol. Yesterday, I turned the phone off for some reason. I awoke at 11:15, went to bathroom and went back to bed, awaking at 3:30 this morning. I must be getting old! Maybe it was 2:30 I got up.

That was a shocker bit of news that I was sitting down to read. Yes, a kinder year, just what I need. I have not had one sip of alcohol in 2013. I need an occasion to even taste wine.

  3. Does dropping my book on the floor after I fell asleep count? Haven't been up till midnight in ages, usually drop off to sleep around 11:30pm, that extra half hour is just too much!

    1. Bellen,
Sure, why not? A book drop? Just don't damage the book or leave it in danger. This is the first time I have not stayed up except for the one time I was just too ill. You are right--sometimes an extra half hour is too much.

  5. I drop things each and every day. And each cup of tea I make includes a libation to the floor gods. I am a klutz. Books, food, and an emphasis on anything which is going to stain.

    1. EC,
      Good one.

Today, I dropped a bowl of blackeyed peas and catsup onto the floor between my feet as I sat in then den for a little snack. It splashed onto both feet and socks and onto the carpet. As I reacted I sloshed a great deal of water I was holding into the remainder of the bowl of peas on the floor....sigh..I just sat back and ate the watery, cooled off peas before I cleaned the shoes, socks, carpet. It was a real mess of a drop.

I am sure the floor gods appreciate your offerings and devotion.

Okay, hoping the annoyances have gone away.
