Since I now have Windows 10, I am having to learn how to do things to get the job done. I cannot copy and paste like I did with 7. I cannot use the mouse to get the job done. So, I must use ctrl-C and ctrl-V to copy and paste. This will be my first attempt.
If you want to enter the giveaway, click. Hey, it appears to have worked! Sluggy always has great giveaways. especially when there is chocolate involved. I have been remiss in posting this, but you still have plenty of chances and ways to enter.
How are you finding Windows 10? I have avoided (so far) making the leap.
ReplyDeleteAnd do love my mouse...
I recently upgraded my computer, & so far so good with Windows 10. I can't believe how fast my computer is now!
ReplyDeleteTLC,
Delete!!! Mine is slower.
When this computer was purchased new, there was a free upgrade to 10. My friend who does not have 10 was going to show me something I needed. He ONLY knew what I did, even less, actually. So, when the chance to get my free 10 popped up, he clicked NO. I could have killed him. Then, it was impossible to load it. I had to get in line with the masses. Finally, I got a message to upgrade now. I did.
ReplyDeleteFor secure upgrades or anything, go to downloads.com Unless you bought a computer recently with a free upgrade, I think it costs $100 for the upgrade.
You like the mouse on a laptop?
I don't have a lap top. And have heard some bad things about the upgrade so I am still holding off.
DeleteEC,
DeleteThe upgrade to 10 was better than 8.1 that came with the laptop.
Upgrades are often a challenge!
ReplyDeleteSnowbrush,
DeleteYes, they are, especially when someone messes things up. Since it was bought new from WM, the guys gave me advice and told me to wait for the Windows message to upgrade;
