Tommy Cooks By Himself

Today, I have felt so awful, just no energy or motivation. I did not sleep well last night. Melatonin makes me feel terrible  the next day.

The pork butt needed to be cook ed now. I told him he needed to do it. It was too big for the crock pot or a cooking bag on a pan. So, he cooked it by cutting it in half. I told him what to put on the halves and he did. Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder on both pieces. He put a bottle of water in the crock pot and half a bottle of water in the cooking bag.

He has seen me do this before, so he needed very little instructions. Then, he peeled potatoes and carrots. I was in no mood to slice an onion. Even though my right arm was hurting so, I chose to the clean up the potatoes and carrots after he peeled them. I don't trust him to get all black places from potatoes.

So, he cooked 18 pounds of pork and as many carrots and potatoes as he chose. While that was cooking, I had a huge salad, grated cheese, prunes, and pecans. I had meat, half carrot, and small piece of potato when the meal was done.

Later, he cooked me three cookies from refrigerated section in Publix. We had a half glass of milk.

That was all I ate except for half a glass of milk this morning and one piece of bread.

Right now, I feel better because the melatonin has worn off. Tommy is insisting I go to doctor for my elbow and for the wound in groin. Plus, breathing is difficult like when I had the blood clots.

My weight loss has not progressed. I was taking oxycodone and intestines not working as I wish!

The temp out today was somewhere in mid 80s. Nice. Of course, we have to have bad weather after it is warm.

Three times today, I have received a call from my bank saying they need to confirm a transaction with my bank by checking my account info. The third time, they wanted to know last four numbers of my account, My bank will want to know about this.

I think it is time to take the shamrock down from the door!

  2. Wow, good on Tommy for all that cooking! 18 pounds of pork--amazing.

I think Tommy is right (yes, you heard it here first, folks!) and you should go to the doctor. Esp. for your breathing! You don't want to risk pneumonia setting in...

  4. I try to be very careful about that type of message from my" Bank". I go their website myself....I never click on any link that I am unsure of. If it is my bank they will have a message on their site for me. If there is no message I know it was a phishing attempt by a shyster,
