Reindeer Munching in the Front Yard

This will be short. I am about to go to sleep.

Therapist or someone came. Cleaner came and put together the three reindeer and changed my bed among other things.

See, I told you that it would be short. I am so sleepy.

I think I have the three cutest deer in my yard. No, they are not munching. That was just click-bait thought up by Tommy. By the way, Jan, Tommy loved the birthday card.

Anyone baking for Christmas yet?

  1. I baked my fruitcakes the day after Halloween, and have been feeding them regularly with rum. One has been eaten already, and two have been marzipaned, (I made that word up) iced with Royal icing, and decorated. I will keep one of the iced one for us, and give an iced one and a plain one away, but only to friends who I know appreciate fruitcake. I have also made a batch of Russian tea cakes, a pan of fudge, some chocolate turtles, and some peanut butter cups. I had a request for another batch of Chex mix...I usually begin making batches of that at the start of football season. DH enjoys watching football on Sunday. Frankly, the rest of us can't stand it. (It's beyond the boredom of watching any sports on tv. I find the whole organization, from pee wee to professional, obscene for a variety of reasons.) The Chex Mix started as a distraction, and the tradition continued. I also have a request in for apple turnovers which will get baked tomorrow after I get some tart apples.
Did you ever make your pool noodle decorations?
