LED Christmas Light Grow Box

Isn't this clever? He has the original post and at least one other update. This seems like something I would like to try. I have never had a grow box.

  1. That is awesome! We have a grow box (which is an old plastic container hubby had and a grow light from WalMart.) I have tried for years to start plants in the grow box. They do great to a point, and then they start to fall over, or the stems arent sturdy enough. It's gotten to the point that I buy the seedlings for the things I cant plant directly in the ground (tomatoes, zukes & cukes.) Even the seedlings I grew myself in the grow box, when I planted them outside, they didnt do well. I dont know what I was doing wrong. Maybe I'll try again, but not this year.

  2. You need to transplant the seedlings. They get leggy and fall down when they are crowded. Also, ease them into the garden. Don't take them from house to garden. When the seedlings are still tiny, run your hand across the top of them, just brushing them. It makes them more sturdy.

Okay, hoping the annoyances have gone away.
