But, we become accustomed to these things. My world would orbit properly if I had a larger freezer. Well, the smallest one that is frost-free would work.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14991571309786149363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3321084510373631678.post-37180656300588605342016-01-03T12:05:52.613-06:002016-01-03T12:05:52.613-06:00CTMOM,

I may just put all this in quart jars and store in the refrigerator after freezing.

I bought 36 lbs of sugar at $0.25/lb a few years ago. I am NOT giving it away. Storing it in quart jars keeps it forever. I rarely use sugar since I rarely bake!

Dinner sounds delisious.
Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14991571309786149363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3321084510373631678.post-60162414164793821382016-01-03T11:15:44.678-06:002016-01-03T11:15:44.678-06:00I buy mostly organic whole wheat pastry flour from...I buy mostly organic whole wheat pastry flour from the bulk bins. I have found freezing it for just a couple of weeks will keep any critters from hatching, but it does become rancid a lot quicker. I put it in several quart freezer bags, lay them flat and stack them. I am not sure it takes up less space but it is easier to access.

My garbage disposal died a couple of weeks before Christmas and it only took me a few days without it to realize how much I use it ( Yeah, I know, First World problems) so I bought a new one and now the world is orbiting properly.Anne in the kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01533249631969001657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3321084510373631678.post-27969752660506497082016-01-03T07:38:08.278-06:002016-01-03T07:38:08.278-06:00Got oats? a food processor? whirl the oats into a ...Got oats? a food processor? whirl the oats into a flourCTMOMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04825780992878036362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3321084510373631678.post-34238158885090975882016-01-03T07:05:22.046-06:002016-01-03T07:05:22.046-06:00I keep my extra flour in fridge. I'm trying to half*** diet and use the stuff in my fridge and pantry. I thawed 2 boneless chicken breasts and will make some chicken salad and probably pound one thinly, dip it in egg white and bread crumbs and fry which isn't all that healthy but I like. Yesterday I made a pan of mac cheese with all the cheese dregs and I have plenty of food to hold me for a few days! TOO MUCH in fact. After church. I am thinking no shopping at all!NANhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01809533152358579455noreply@blogger.com
